Basin Community Values: Data Tables

The Basin Community Values data tables provide data for indicators of water values in the Basin. Each indicator is explained in the report produced for the Basin Community Values project. This report should be referred to for definitions of each indicator and the specification of its calculation. Data for indicators are drawn from a number of sources, including the University of Canberra’s (UC) Regional Wellbeing Survey, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
Some indicators have data for only one year (2023), while others have data for several years. This reflects data availability: some indicators were developed and measured for the first time for the Basin Community Values project, with only one year of data available as a result. Others have been measured for many years as part of existing data collections, and data are included for the years available—back to as early as 2001 where possible.
