This evaluation has looked at each element of Basin Plan implementation to see if it is on track; what social, economic, environmental and cultural outcomes can be seen so far; and what still needs to be done. Overall, the Murray–Darling Basin Authority’s conclusion is that, while many elements of the Basin Plan are on track, and there have been some significant achievements, progress is lagging in several important areas.
