The Basin-wide Environmental Watering Strategy (BWS) Appendix 3 – Expected vegetation outcomes by region, used regions derived from MDBA Basin Plan regions as at May 2010, adding a Nebine region cut out of the Condamine–Balonne region. The Basin Plan regions formed the basis of volumes 3 to 21 of the Guide to the proposed Basin Plan. They are formed largely from state datasets, but are not defined by state borders (i.e. they are mainly composed of natural hydrological catchments).
