This project aimed to provide a summary and analysis of Blue Green Algae (BGA) trends over time within the Murray–Darling Basin (MDB) by addressing the following objectives:
literature review
collation, analysis and synthesis of BGA data in the MDB
exploration of whether BGA blooms are becoming more frequent and severe over time
exploration of linkages with changes in environmental parameters
recommendations around the future monitoring of BGA
material for BGA knowledge dissemination.
