The third edition of the Basin-wide environmental watering strategy is delivered as a suite of three products – the Basin-wide environmental watering strategy, a high-level summary product of the Strategy and a detailed supporting information document (this document).
This document aims to capture the supporting technical information upon which the 2024 Basin-wide environmental watering strategy is based. It is a supplementary resource to the Strategy that provides further technical details on each of the four themes (flows and connectivity, native vegetation, waterbirds and native fish), the water management strategies, climate change risks, the influence of other factors and complementary management. As such, this report should be read in
conjunction with the Strategy document
