This Overview Report is a statutory evaluation and reporting requirement under Schedule 12, Matter 7 of the Basin Plan. This schedule requires the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder (CEWH) report on the achievement of environmental outcomes at a Basin-scale, by reference to the targets in Schedule 7.
The Overview Report captures insights and conclusions on the achievement of environmental outcomes at a Basin-scale, drawn from the first 15 years managing water for the environment as part of the Basin Plan. These insights and conclusions are articulated in a series of ‘Discovery Statements’ which align with Matter 7 reporting themes.
