This summary report provides a summary of water quality monitoring undertaken by NSW in the Murray–Darling Basin from 2018 to 2023. It builds on New South Wales (NSW’s) 2020 Matter 12 report to the Murray–Darling Basin Authority which set a baseline against which future progress towards the water quality targets in Chapter 9 of the Basin Plan could be assessed.
